I read this book and I couldn’t put it down. i finished it in a couple hours. I gotta be honest, I cant remember the last book I picked up and finished in the same day. I really enjoyed the author’s personal story. I’m not an entrepreneur but the chapters about changing your environment and prioritizing your life really resonated with me. Quite honestly, every chapter was relevant, regardless of being an entrepreneur or not. I think anyone can find inspiration from her personal journey. Her experiences were motivating and even comforting. I found myself even ready to consider yoga or some other type of mediation to help improve my mindset to get rid of the negative energy.
I got a lot of work to do in my own life but thank you to the author for making her life public for me and others to learn from. Since reading this book, I’ve woken up early every day ready to slay and start staring. I start each day with some me time before the rest of the world wakes up and comes knocking and I’m a better person for it. Thank you to the author!

What I didn’t expect though, is the advice to be so applicable to life in general. If you are looking for encouragement, AND a roadmap, to your better self- this is it.
It would make a great gift for someone young in your life. I’ll be gifting it to all the graduates I know. Schools don’t teach the lessons in Pivot & Slay.
